We love this local ice cream shop. We like their soft serve options. They have nice tables out front that are shaded and a small play area for kids. The flowers around the shop are very pretty as well! Oh and our dog loves their pup cup.

What a wonderful shop. I have no pictures of our delicious ice cream in dipped waffle cones or chocolate covered graham crackers because they were just tooooooo good and they are gone. But believe me when I say they were worth the trip from Young State Park (16 minute drive). There was a little playground for the kids and toys to play with and nice outside sitting areas. This place is a must visit if you are in the area.

Ice cream was good, not necessarily worth the price however. The lady who took our order was pretty rude and not nice. The place was cute but kinda run down building that needs some updating. The grounds were cute though. Update after owner’s reply- Strange… this was definitely a medium size because that is what I ordered. Please be honest with your customers!

Delightful candy, ice cream and. Sweet shop! You will feel like a kid in a candy store! Like a child’s dream destination! Great location across the street from Lake Walloon! Wonderful and friendly employees! Fab ice cream and candy selection!

This place is an absolute dream for kids (and adults too!). It’s right on the water, which makes it the perfect stop for a sweet treat and a lakeside stroll. Between the incredible candy selection and the amazing Ashby’s ice cream, it’s impossible not to walk out with a smile. One of the most special things—they make custom Buckeye chocolates for my cousin Josh, which just shows how thoughtful and kind the owners are. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Everything about this shop is magical—from the sweets to the service to the view. A must-visit!
